What?… SEO Elite?

Like many people that fall for hype due to their enthusiasm to do better, become better or succeed I fell victim to it too despite my years and experience and I-know-better attitude. SEO Elite. What wasteful way to spend your money, a lesson in purchasing hype and buying into advertising scheme that brainwashes us. The program itself is not so bad but what it does, you can do yourself and maybe better. Let me explain. This program is dished to you by projects and there are 8 of them. Here’s how they are:
Project 1. Analyze backlinks using a specified search engine – I tell you what this one did for me. It told me some of my linkbacks couldn’t be found. Program recommendation: Send email inquiry. Who has the time? I deleted them! Wrong. I lost 45 positions in Google search. The ones I deleted all had links to me but I lost those links and my Google position. Wonderful program, right? You know how to do this independently? Use “link:your domain.com” without the quotes on any Google search box
Project 2. Get links to your website. OK this one a bit better but you could do this yourself by doing a Google search for your key word and you get all the sites you need to request a link from!
Project 3. Analyze allinAnckor, allinTitle and allinText. This one is interesting. You find out, by using this, where your competitor has stuffed his key words, in his anchor, his tiles or his text. Well, does it really matter? You can only use so many key words anywhere before the meaning of your paragraph is lost so go ahead and use some of your key words in each place and you’re done just make sure you don’t over do it.
Project 4. Verify link partners are still linking to you. OK this maybe the best thing this program has to offer. Even here you could do it yourself with no problems. There are lots of free tools that allow you to check this. If you use FireFox, checkout their add-ons page, download and install the SEO tools. If you don’t, then all you have to do is to search for link popularity checker sites. I could give some examples but I don’t want to plug those sites. Just do a search and you’ll find out how many offer the free tool and most of them run in a browser so there’s no downloading or installing.
Project 5. Find where your site is ranked for a given key word. Give me a break. You see where I’m going with this? Do you have a Google toolbar? OK then you know where your site is ranked, right? That’s the end of that. OK you might have to take the data and put it in an Excel worksheet and get a line chart of it. Wow, that’s really hard!
Project 6. Find how many pages are indexed. If you’re a Webmaster, then you know this one is the easiest of them all. Just go to Google Webmaster site and fetch the data. Now that was difficult wasn’t it?
Project 7. Find possible authority websites. Oh boy, I guess you can’t do a search using your target key words? What a shame our fingers can’t press the keys on the keyboard! And this is such an easy search.
Project 8. Submit your articles to article directories. This one is just wonderful! If you have ever submitted an article to one of these sites, you know they have their own forms for submission. The forms have select boxes or list boxes and guess what? This program cannot press the key to select the item, you have to do it. What that means is you still have to do the work but now you have to work really hard because you also have to register using a registration form. Oh you thought that its automatically filled in? Guess again.
That’s it folks. For this you pay $167 and if you thought you got the trial software, guess again, you can’t get your money back because there’s no-one there for you to ask for your money back, you can’t get a hold of anyone. You can send emails till you’re blue in the face and there’s no response unless you use the form on the main site. No phone numbers to call either. Just a little email from Brad, every once in a while, trying to help you!! Don’t send him any emails or replies because they will come back to you. I’m not sure if this guy exists!

I’m sure some of you won’t agree with me on this as I am sure some of you will. This is the biggest hype I’ve seen. A bunch of these programs have been sold and maybe some people are real happy with it too but I’m here to tell you, don’t waste your money. You’re not getting anything you can’t do yourself on your own and spend your $167 to buy some paid links that can do you some good.
